ABOUT US

Our Team and Story

We are a team of students from School of Hotel and Tourism Management of the The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Majoring in Hotel Management, we are hence familiar with food and beverage production. Some of us also studied biology and nutritions in both secondary and university studies, which is the reason why we know about the concept of glycemic index.

The idea of going low-GI came to our mind because some of our family members suffer from diabetes and we understand the difficulties to find suitable food that are healthy, tasty and not expensive. We started this project as an Entrepreneurship group project in SHTM and subsequently started to develop our business after receiving awards and funds. We strive to educate the public about glycemic index and its application to our everyday life, also to promote the low-GI eating style by providing relevant tips and information.
